On track for a great event Amberley Working Museum will host its Autumn Industrial Trains Day on Sunday 19th October 2008. Set in the 36 acre grounds of the Museum, the event will re-create the enjoyment and nostalgia of vintage train transportation. With a magnificent collection of narrow gauge locomotives including steam, diesel, petrol and electric locomotives - the public are guaranteed something special to watch and ride on. The event will ‘whet the whistle’ of enthusiasts and the general public alike. Situated within the South Downs in 36 acres of chalk quarry the Museum boasts a range of live exhibits including a working vintage bus service and narrow gauge railway, EDF ENERGY electricity hall, BT Connected Earth plus much more.
